About the Photographer

Tom Kennon has been an outdoor enthusiast and photographer for more than 30 years. An avid whitewater canoeist, his love of the natural world has been shaped by the rivers and streams of Tennessee, Arkansas and Colorado. He is actively involved with the Arkansas Canoe Club where he works to protect rivers and introduce people to whitewater boating. He is the author of A Canoeing and Kayaking Guide to the Ozarks.
